Comments Or Suggestions On Picking A Mac Book Pro!?!?
I am interested in a mac book pro however i would like some feedback, and possibly how you think i should configure it. Also if you have any experience with running games in vista or xp using macs boot camp please give me some info on that too. Please help me with the decision of choosing the correct mac. I have a pretty hefty music collection about 10 GB a large mass of videos containing roughly 100 GB and lastly my games i am a gaming freak so i want to have plenty of power for games and plenty of storage to store them. Please do not suggest another brand computer because one of the main reasons im getting a mac in the first place is i go to a mac based school district so this way i can continue school projects and things please help me!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Sounds like you will want a large hard drive on your MacBook Pro to accommodate your music and videos. You can configure your MacBook on-line and you should be able to get a student discount on your purchase as well. When you get the Apple Store on-line choose the educational store tab on the left hand side of the page.
For gaming you will want lots of RAM but topping up the RAM on the Apple store is more expensive than getting some Kingston RAM at your local computer parts retailer. Installing the RAM should not cost you more than $25.00.
I am not a gamer so I do not have any experience playing games on the MAC using Vista or XP. But if it can be done, a MacBook Pro definitely has the power to do it.
One of the nicest things about Apple is that they have great customer service. You get 90 days phone service with your standard 1 year warranty. If you purchase the extended warranty you get the phone service for the full 3 years too. They help you with software issues, everything. That’s something you won’t get with any PC. Not even a Lenovo.
